How to Add Blog Post Pagination in Thrive Architect

The Thrive Themes team recently added a fantastic update to the Post List element, allowing us to make significant visual and functional improvements to the front-end and back-end. These changes come in addition to the transformation of the (now defunct) Post Grid to the Post List.

While a fantastic improvement, the Post List still lacked one main feature: Pagination, which is the ability to 'Load More' or go to the next page of posts.

This lack of pagination meant that the Post List was only able to showcase a few select, filtered posts. While nice to showcase your favorite posts, it was far from capable of replacing the standard blog page.

As of September 13, 2019 the Post List element includes pagination options.

How to Add Pagination to the Post List Element

Follow these steps to add pagination to the Post List:

Step 1: Add a post list element to your page.

Step 2: Choose a template from the gallery that comes close to the look you would like to achieve. Don't worry, this can be completed edited later.

Step 3: Click on the Post List you just added and locate the Pagination Type setting.

Step 4: Click the drop down and choose 'Load More'.  As of 9/13/2019 the only option for pagination is Load More, but according to Thrive Themes developers, additional pagination options are on the way in the next few weeks.
